American Beauty

When I visit America, the first thing I do when I get there is go shopping for beauty products. Unfortunately though, frequent shopping trips to the States aren't exactly budget friendly. That's where Luxplus comes into play, they have a huge selection of American beauty products, available here in the UK at a fraction of the price. Keep reading as I showcase some of the best American brands that Luxplus has to offer!

One of my favourite American brands is Elizabeth Arden. As a brand, Elizabeth Arden is probably most well known for their Eight Hour Cream products. Luckily, Luxplus has this convenient kit of three Eight Hour Cream products, which includes the original Eight Hour skin protectant, intensive hand treatment and lip balm. The Elizabeth Arden skin protectant is perfect for chapped lips, any rough skin on knees or elbows, and is suitable for all skin types. The intensive moisturising hand treatment is perfect for Autumn/Winter when our hands become dry and cracked. After a few applications of this your hands will feel super soft and protected. Finally, the lip balm is one of the best for moisturising and protecting, especially as it has an SPF 20 making it perfect for year round use.

Tom Ford is one of the most luxurious brands I've ever used, and I've recently fallen in love with their Black Orchid Eau de Parfum. Firstly, the packaging is so sleek, it just looks beautiful on my dressing table. The scent is quite intense in that I can still smell this on myself hours later, but yet it isn't too overpowering! It's sexy, mature and smells like an absolute dream. This amazing perfume consists of black truffle, blackcurrant and rich fruit accords.

Revlon's Lash Potion mascara is incredible and it's easy to see why it has such a great reputation. Again, the packaging is very different to other mascaras I own as it's fun and bubbly! The brush is my perfect mascara brush as it's thick and quite fluffy with big gaps between the bristles. The formula is perfect as it isn't wet and therefore doesn't transfer to my lids, but isn't drying either! The mascara also contains amino acids and proteins which help condition the lashes whilst wearing it!

Estée Lauder are another well known American beauty brand and their products never disappoint. I've picked a product from them that isn't one of their most famous products and is definitely in my opinion underrated. The lip visor mini in coral is incredibly moisturising with the most gorgeous tint. I love the design of these lip visors as the top easily comes off and you can apply the balm straight to the lips rather than using your fingers. This balm is fragrance free so great for those who aren't fond of strong smells on their lips.

Last, but not least is Victoria's Secret beauty products. Victoria's Secret is huge in the States and their body mists are my favourite! They always feel so refreshing on the skin and of course smell amazing. This particular fragrance is called Aqua Kiss and is definitely my new favourite as it's enriched with rain kissed freesia as well as daisy. For affordability, you really can't beat the Victoria's Secret body products and thankfully all fragrances are available on Luxplus.
