Incorporate SPF in your everyday look

The days of carefree tanning are over—skin cancer is on the rise and it’s now more important than ever to protect yourself from the sun. However if you’re like me, incorporating SPF into your daily beauty routine is easier said than done. Sure, you have the best intentions, but when it comes down to it who has the time to slab on a layer of SPF every morning, let alone reapply it throughout the day? That’s why I’ve compiled a list of 10 everyday beauty products that already contain SPF. So even the laziest amongst us (aka me) can stay protected from those harmful UV rays!

As always, prep your skin with moisturiser or primer before applying any foundation. Luxplus offers several SPF moisturisers, from name brands such as Clinique, Nivea, and Elizabeth Arden. If you haven’t quite achieved that coveted summer glow, swipe a bit of bronzer on your cheekbones and temples. Rimmel’s Natural Bronzer contains SPF 15, so you keep looking sun kissed, rather than sunburnt. Oh and did I mention that this bronzer is waterproof? Yes, please!

The hottest trend this summer is strobing. And it’s no surprise why—illuminator can create the appearance of chiseled cheekbones and brighten your overall complexion. Vita Liberata’s Capture Illuminating Skin Finish Rose with SPF 15 is the key to looking effortlessly refreshed. Apply a few dots to the apples of your cheeks as well as above your cheekbones, and begin channeling your inner goddess.

Sunburned lips are not fun, in fact I’m wincing just thinking about my last rendezvous with blistered puckers. So thank God for Maybelline’s Baby Lips Intense Care SPF 20 and Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15. These SPF infused lip balms are perfect for summer. You can wear them naked, or beneath your favourite lip colour. Whatever you do though, don’t forget to protect your lips.

And now, last but not least, spray a few spritz of Vita Liberata Dry Oil SPF 25 on you face, body, and hair. This multipurpose dry oil dew contains antioxidants and other rejuvenating minerals, which revitalise your skin and hair. I personally use this dry oil to protect my locks from the harsh summer sun, but I hear that it also works great as a makeup setting spray. So try it out and see for yourself.
