Summer Beauty Essentials

Although summer hasn't arrived yet in the UK this year, I've obviously still stocked up on some summer beauty essentials from Luxplus. If you're lucky enough to be jetting off somewhere hot and fabulous this year, these products will make you look and feel summer ready.

For me, summer is all about bright colours. So, starting out with the feet, I've included this lovely trio of Essie polishes which features the nail polishes Ruffles & Feathers, Haute in the Heat, Roarrrrange and all measuring at 5ml. Essie is my favourite nail brand as they last super long on the nails and apply smoothly. I'm also a fan of the mini nail varnishes as I never seem to finish a full normal size bottle, so this way I can try more colours for a similar price.

Before wearing a pair of flip-flops, it's essential to get rid of any dry skin on the feet that's built up over winter. I love Scholl products for the feet and this Velvet Smooth Pedi Foot File is a bargain at less than £19! It painlessly and quickly destroys any dry skin leaving your feeling smooth and looking gorgeous! I also like to make sure my legs are smooth on holiday and as I always seem to go over my baggage limit, the mini Gillette Venus Snap razor is perfect for fitting in my toiletry bag.

I like to go for a natural base on holiday so the Max Factor CC cream still evens out my skin tone but it doesn't feel too heavy when the weather is warm. It's also great to use when I have no makeup brushes on hand as it applies flawlessly just by using my fingers! Underneath my makeup, I always go for a hydrating moisturiser with an SPF when the sun's shining to protect my skin. I'll definitely be using the Avéne Thermale Hydrance Optimale Rich Hydrating Cream this summer as it replenishes any oils the sun strips from my face and it contains an SPF 20. To protect my lips, I love the EOS lip balm in lemon with an SPF 15. The packaging is super cute and I love the pastel colours.

It's also important that I smell great during the summer and the Victoria's Secret body mists smell amazing! I'm particularly loving Passion Struck which has notes of fuji apple and vanilla orchid. The mists feel so light on the body but the scent lasts for hours. Victoria's Secret body mists are by far my favourite body product this summer, they come in a variety of scents and are priced super reasonable on Luxplus.

Finally, the sun and sea can really damage our hair so it's important to take great care of it after exposure. This summer I'll be using the L'Oreal Mythic Oil Strength Milk as it leaves my hair feeling conditioned, soft and sleek. It has so many uses including a post wash detangler, a pre blow dry conditioner or a finishing spritz. By using these 8 amazing products, you're sure to feel and look good this summer!
